The ever evolving and greatly loved Levitate Music Festival is proud to announce the 2019 lineup for its seventh annual music festival happening July 12-14, 2019. Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, will be joined by Stick Figure, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Sublime with Rome, Michael Franti and Spearhead, SOJA, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Ripe, The Wood Brothers, and many more. Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Michael Franti will make a series of special intimate appearances throughout the western U.S. this fall at screenings of his new, self-directed documentary film Stay Human. Each screening will feature an introduction by and Q&A with Franti, as well as an acoustic performance by Franti accompanied by Carl Young (bass, vocals) and Victoria Canal (keys, vocals).

Alaska’s Salmonfest, now in its eighth year, is a shining blossom to the wonderfully charismatic Alaskan music scene.  This August 3rd-5th the salmon run will be on as roughly 9,000 people of strange and exotic ilk make their pilgrimage to the tiny hamlet of Ninilchik, deep in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula.  Boasting sixty-five bands and four stages, Salmonfest, nestled in the pristine environment amidst Cook Inlet and the Ninilchik River, is where musicians from around the globe gather in the name of fish, love, and music.

Kicking off their “Stay Human” tour,  Michael Franti & Spearhead had a soul shining performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 1st.   The evening started off with Franti leading a yoga jam session at Red Rocks. Taking in all the beautiful views of Colorado, this put out some great vibes for the beautiful Colorado night.

2018 Salmonfest highlights not one but three female singers and then some! Join us for our sixth straight year of female headliner at Salmonfest.  Brandi Carlile is back and with a new hit album! Joined by Sue Foley, one of the finest blues and roots artists working today. And Kristy Lee, a southern soul shouter! Lee is a legend of the underground that keeps popping up and she will make her Salmonfest debut this year.

Michael Franti & Spearhead are set to tour the U.S. this summer, beginning June 1 at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. The “Stay Human” Tour comes in anticipation of Franti’s upcoming new album Stay Human 2, due this June, and provides the soundtrack for Franti’s forthcoming self-directed documentary, Stay Human.

97.3 KBCO is pleased to present On Tap with KBCO Hurricane Relief Concert October 8th at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton, CO. This event will feature all day music, Breckenridge Brewery beers, and raise money for Hurricane relief with Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.  Proceeds to benefit Rebuild Texas Fund, Feeding Florida and Global Giving.
